FORT MEADE - Mr. Walter Glenn Hooks, 70, passed away April 20, 2020 in Tampa, FL. Mr. Hooks was born September 10, 1949 in Polk County, FL, and a resident of Fort Meade for several years. He was a paint and body repairman in the automotive industry, a U.S. Army veteran, and a member American Legion Post #3 in Bartow.

Mr. Hooks was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Willis Hooks and Anna Spivey Hooks. He is survived by a friend and caretaker, Josh Adams, Fort Meade, FL.

Inurnment will be held in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
