Wayne Smith

INDIANTOWN - Mr. Robert Wayne Smith, 74, passed away Tues., Aug. 5, 2014 in Stuart, FL of heart failure.  Wayne was born in Fort Meade, FL on August 31, 1939 to William Louis and Minnie Lee Martin Smith, and was a longtime resident of Martin County.  He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and worked for First National Bank and American Bank for many years.     Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; son, William Robert Smith; sisters, Vera Mae Smith, Verna Lee Rhoden, and Ethel Lorette Smith; brothers, Clifford Louis Smith, Sr., William Raymond Smith and John Marvin Smith.     He is survived by his son, Tyler Smith, Indiantown, FL; daughter, Lisa Turley and husband Joe, Orlando, FL; brother, Clarence Melburn Smith and wife Edith Mae Belle, Fort Meade, FL; sister, Evelyn Marie Atanasoff, Grafton, WV.     Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 15th, 2014 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL.       Hancock Funeral Home, Fort Meade, FL  863-285-8171
