FORT MEADE – Wilma Ann Bronson, 75, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 in Fort Meade, FL. Wilma was born July 4, 1945 in Fort Meade and she was a longtime resident, and a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. She was a retired Registered Nurse, working in several local nursing homes and hospitals. She was a member of the Fort Meade Order of the Eastern Star, and also was active in Mulberry and Wauchula Eastern Star Chapters. Wilma was also a member of the Lakeland Ladies Oriental Shrine, and a member of the Fort Meade High School graduating class of 1963.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Every; daughter-in-law, Tammy Every; brothers and sisters, Denver Bronson, Elton Bronson, Sydney Bronson, Leo Bronson, Belle Bishop, and Daisy Northcutt.
Wilma is survived by her sons, Mark Every and Alec Every, both of Fort Meade, FL; brothers Jack Bronson and Basil Bronson; sister, Julia Smith, Estelle Bronson, Pansy Osterberg and husband Jerry; grandchildren, Michael Edwards, Austin Helms and wife Tiffany; and one great-grandchild, Garrett Edwards.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 28, 2021 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Travis Risner officiating.
